The Joy of Reading at the Age of 3: the Foundations of Reading in Preschool is the first game created following Françoise Boulanger's approach. Françoise's approach, neither global nor syllabic, is an original and proven method that has been used by parents and teachers for over 25 years.

The goal of the game is to provide young children with access to the fundamentals of reading based on their innate abilities and natural reasoning. Through various sequences, the game provides what they need to gently reach that famous "click" of understanding the b+a=ba.

The application features artificial intelligence that ensures a natural and personalized progression for the child by regulating the words and concepts presented throughout their preschool years.

Created in collaboration with Françoise Boulanger, a pedagogue and international expert in the process of written language acquisition in children from the age of 3.

ACTIVITIES

• Playing with word labels to learn to recognize them
• Listening carefully to the beginning of words to make the connection between sound and letter ("b like in boat")
• Discovering the "singing letters" (the vowels)
• Understanding how to create collections of words with the same sounds ("ette like in shrimp and fork")
• Discovering the concept of syllables by dividing words in half and then reassembling them
• Introducing syllabic blending by feeding friendly caterpillars carrying consonants with vowel leaves
• Learning to write lowercase and uppercase letters
• Beginning to read their first sentences
